To celebrate our grand opening, there are no card or postage costs associated with your card — applying and receiving your card is completely free!

Q: What is the maximum amount that can be loaded onto the BTC.com.au ATM/eftpos Card?

The maximum amount that can be loaded to an individual BTC.com.au ATM/eftpos Card is $999.

Q: How will my BTC.com.au ATM/eftpos Card be delivered to me?

You card will be delivered through Australia Post's express post system. A tracking number will be provided to you once your card has been dispatched.

Q: Is it safe to send my BTC.com.au ATM/eftpos Card to me via Australia Post?

Yes, your BTC.com.au ATM/eftpos Card will be delivered in an inactive state, and will require you to follow a secure activation process to ensure it is activated by the rightful owner.

Q: Can I use my BTC.com.au ATM/eftpos card as soon as I receive it?

Your BTC.com.au ATM/eftpos card must be activated upon receipt, by visiting https://btc.com.au/activate. Once activated successfully, the BTC.com.au ATM/eftpos card can be loaded instantly and will be ready for immediate use.

Q: I am unable to successfully activate my card. Can you help?

Q: How long is my BTC.com.au ATM/eftpos Card valid for?

The card is valid until the expiry date that is printed on the front of the card.

Q: Can I use my BTC.com.au ATM/eftpos card for purchases outside of Australia?

No, your card can only be used within Australia.

Q: Why can't I use my BTC.com.au ATM/eftpos Card at some merchants?

Some merchants may choose not to accept eftpos Prepaid Reloadable Cards.

Q: Can I withdraw cash from my BTC.com.au ATM/eftpos Card?

Yes, the BTC.com.au ATM/eftpos card can be used to withdraw cash from ATMs.

Q: Can I spend more on my BTC.com.au ATM/eftpos Card than the available balance?

The BTC.com.au ATM/eftpos card cannot be used to make transactions that exceed the available balance. For such a transaction, you will need to pay the difference by another method if the merchant agrees.

Q: Can I get a refund on a purchase made with the card?

Any refunds on BTC.com.au ATM/eftpos Card transactions are subject to the policy of the specific merchant. Refunds may be in the form of a credit to the Card, cash refund or in-store credit
